Welcome to BBC Global Network. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Member," or "you") and BBC Global Network("we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of our web platform, mobile applications, APIs, and associated networking services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the BBC Global platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility & Age Restriction (Strictly 18+)
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law (including the Indian Contract Act, 1872).
The platform is strictly a professional business-to-business (B2B) ecosystem. If you are under 18 years old, you are strictly prohibited from registering, attempting to register, or using the platform.
2. Account Registration & Security
- Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and authentic information regarding your identity, business, and designation.
- Authentication: You may authenticate via email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at
bbcglobalcommunity@gmail.comif you suspect unauthorized access to your account. - Single Identity: Account sharing, creating duplicate accounts, or impersonating another professional or business entity is strictly prohibited.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Code of Conduct
BBC Global provides collaborative networking features including member profiles, direct messaging, chapter group chats, and referral pipelines. You retain ownership of your content, but agree to strictly abide by our community standards:
Zero-Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content
You agree that you will NEVER post, transmit, or share content that:
- Is abusive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence against any individual or group.
- Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or disparagement based on race, caste, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Contains sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene material.
- Promotes unlawful pyramid schemes, fraudulent investments, or deceptive business opportunities.
- Violates intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or confidentiality agreements of others.
- Transmits viruses, malware, or unsolicited spam messaging to fellow members.
4. Content Moderation & 24-Hour Enforcement SLA
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021:
- Reporting Mechanism: Members can flag objectionable messages or report abusive profiles directly in-app or via email to
bbcglobalcommunity@gmail.com. - Blocking: Members have the right to block abusive users to instantly terminate mutual messaging and interaction.
- 24-Hour Review SLA: All reported content and behavioral complaints are reviewed by BBC Global administrators within 24 hours of submission.
- Enforcement: Accounts found violating these Terms are subject to immediate content removal, formal warning, suspension, or permanent account termination without prior notice.
5. Chapter Membership & Approval Process
Membership in BBC Global Network chapters is subject to application, peer review, and administrator approval:
- Administrative Approval: Registering on the platform places your profile into review. Full chapter access, directories, chat, and referral pipelines unlock only upon formal administrator approval.
- No Automated In-App Billing: In-app subscription purchases and automated payment gateways have been decommissioned. Any chapter-related membership dues, fees, or renewals are handled offline and directly governed by chapter leadership.
- We do not endorse, guarantee, or warrant any commercial deals, contracts, services, or financial returns arising between members. Members are solely responsible for conducting independent due diligence before entering into any business partnership or transaction.
6. Termination & Account Deletion
You may terminate your account at any time by utilizing the Delete Account button in your profile settings or by submitting an online deletion request at /delete-account. Upon termination, your profile and access privileges will be deactivated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
